Meet the board

Kara Deupre

…is a visionary. Kara’s vision will move you beyond passive entertainment into a world where you participate, creating an evening that leaves you charmed, changed, and longing for the next one.

Kara has been dreaming of creating immersive experiences for more than 20 years. She dipped her toe into the event world a couple years ago with “Wicked,” a successful show she created and produced in just three months. A few years later Kara created an immersive event company called MOXIE Luxe which has produced several immersive shows such as:

Kara continues to push the boundaries in immersive events in Denver and consults other event companies looking to incorporate immersive concepts.

Jenny Weinbloom

… is a bicoastal producer and creative director currently based in Santa Fe.  Her experience in location-based entertainment and transmedia storytelling ranges from immersive theatre and themed entertainment to experiential marketing, alternate reality games and special events, both independently and as a part of diverse production teams including VICE Media, Baz Luhrmann’s Bazmark, Variety Worldwide (creators of The Box), Rethink Leisure & Entertainment, Punchdrunk’s Sleep No More, and Meow Wolf–where she currently serves as Executive Producer of their flagship permanent exhibition, opening in Denver in 2020.

Jenny has served as a producer, show writer and creative director on a number of projects including resort developments, theme park attractions, alternate reality games, permanent exhibitions, PR stunts, proscenium-based spectacles, touring variety shows, immersive theatre, and themed nightlife for brands including the Radio City Rockettes, Absolut, Barneys New York, Royal Enfield Motorcycles, 20th Century Fox, Nickelodeon, Magic Hat, Royal Caribbean, Bacardi, Heineken, Red Bull, Celebrity Cruises, and more.

Along with her large scale location-based entertainment work, Jenny continues to participate in the New York and Los Angeles immersive theatre communities as a producer and consultant. Recent/current projects include Waking La Llorona presented in collaboration with the Old Globe and the La Jolla Playhouse, Safehouse ’77, The Speakeasy Society’s The Wild Party in collaboration with The Broad Stage, and new work in development with The Speakeasy Society. She is also a co-founder of the League of Experiential & Immersive Artists, on the boarder of the Denver Immersive Summit, and the founder, producing artistic director and resident femmecee of New York-based Rhinestone Gorilla Burlesque, currently in its 10th year.

Ivar Zeile

… is the Founder and Director of Plus Gallery, one of Denver Colorado’s most reputable programs for contemporary art exhibitions and artist representation. The gallery artists have received major acclaim on both local and national levels, and the gallery itself was named “Art Space of the Year” in 2009 by the Denver Post. Zeile served as a member of the Denver Mayor’s Commission for Cultural Affairs from 2006 through 2011, and in the last decade has served as a board member for a variety of art-related groups including PlatteForum, the Denver Art Museum’s DAM Contemporaries, and RedLine.

In 2009 Zeile was appointed Creative Director for the Denver Theatre District, selecting artwork for large-format billboards mounted in downtown Denver and establishing protocols for activating large-format LED screens with artistic content that reflects the cultural community. In 2011 Zeile founded Denver Digerati as an exclusive network supporting the work of Digital Animators in the public sphere, through an ongoing series of presentations in the Denver Theatre District on public LED screens. In 2016 Zeile initiated SUPERNOVA Outdoor Digital Animation Festival as a singular festival advancing Digital Animation as an innovative cultural engagement and developing form of public art. Zeile’s specialization within the field of digital motion-art is an ongoing focus that is developing into a more robust engagement with crossover into a number of different and exciting platforms.
